Eagles are big birds so you can imagine they are pretty tough. But they may be even more hardcore than you might have imagined.

Yeah, they have talons as long as our fingers and can easily tear flesh from their prey but you just don’t picture such a “majestic” bird kicking so much ass or going around pulling goats off cliffs. At least I didn’t. I always just assumed they ate fish and random rodents/rabbits.

How about hunting mountain goats, grabbing the younger ones and dragging them off the cliffs so they drop to the bottom then stopping in for a quick hot meal?

(warning: a little bit tough to watch if you like animals or are squeamish. But it’s nature baby!)

Not badass enough for you? Yeah, picking on young goats on cliffs might not be that tough. How about hunting WOLVES and taking them down?

Had a hard time deciding which animal to “root for” in the last video because I dig wolves so it sucked seeing them get their arse kicked

I love this stuff and watch nature channel type shows all the time but these eagle videos amazed even me. Wish they had some of this on my favorite nature show ever, Planet Earth, in blu-ray, rather than grainy video. But it’s amazing nonetheless.
