The Most Awesomest Candy!!! – Halloween Candy Edition

I’ve always loved Halloween. Not because of the cool costumes or scary movies (though both are great) but because of the awesome candy. Most houses gave out the same crappy candy that you see all year round but ever since I was a kid I vowed to give out awesome, cool, crazy candy when I got older. You know, the kind that gets your house remembered by all the kids for being the “cool house” all year.

For me, as a kid, that usually meant the rare house that gave out full sized Snickers or KitKats. Though I also always like the ones that did something different even if lame in most kids minds…things like fresh apples or cool popcorn balls. Of course those were the things on my mothers “throw away” list and I never got to keep them. You know, because people could put razor blades in the apples or sprinkle anthrax on the popcorn balls…did any of that crap ever actually happen? Not the best training for a kid…”no, apples are bad throw them away” but “keep the candy”.

Eagles are big birds so you can imagine they are pretty tough. But they may be even more hardcore than you might have imagined.

Yeah, they have talons as long as our fingers and can easily tear flesh from their prey but you just don’t picture such a “majestic” bird kicking so much ass or going around pulling goats off cliffs. At least I didn’t. I always just assumed they ate fish and random rodents/rabbits.

How about hunting mountain goats, grabbing the younger ones and dragging them off the cliffs so they drop to the bottom then stopping in for a quick hot meal?

Yeah, this meme is way played out but figured the new internet darling was the one who should put Kanye to wrest. “Play him off”, bolloon boy!

October 12 is the 285th day of the year (286th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 80 days remaining until the end of the year.

October 12 is also the traditional day that Columbus Day is “celebrated” (postal workers mostly) in the US.  I personally think China’s “worship the Dragon Day” Oct. 12th sounds like a much more bad ass holiday but whatever.

Oct 12 is now also the bday of Idiotical.com!

What does that mean? Well we don’t know yet but we hope to bring you some of the best of the web. Or more likely the worst of the web. A random mishmash of things we like and think you will like. Hopefully we will be able to provide something interesting for you while you are here. But if not, you could always just “worship the dragon” while no one is looking
